Jack’s Family Restaurants is marking National Hamburger Day 2026 with a one-day deal on Thursday, May 28: classic hamburgers for $1. The offer runs from 2 p.m. to close at all Jack’s locations, available in-store and online, with a limit of five hamburgers per order.
Billie Jo Waara said Jack’s has been built around the sandwich for decades. “Since 1960, the hamburger has been a Jack’s staple and a guest favorite,” she said, adding that National Hamburger Day “is the perfect time to celebrate the classic flavor our guests have loved for generations, and we’re proud to offer it for just $1.”
The chain’s promotion is part of a wider National Hamburger Day push that has turned Thursday into a major discount day for burger fans. Burger King said Royal Perks members can get a free hamburger with any purchase of $3 or more on May 28, using the BK app or bk.com at participating restaurants nationwide. The chain is also offering four months of Spotify Premium for free with a $10 purchase, while past Spotify Premium users can get two months free if their access ended more than 30 days ago and they have not redeemed a Spotify welcome back offer in the last 24 months.
Other chains are joining in with their own limited-time prices. Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar is offering BD’s All-American Burger and a classic side for $10 on May 28. Big Buns rewards members can get a free Classic Burger with any purchase through May 31. Bobby’s Burgers is pricing a Crunchburger at $5.28 on May 28 at Charlotte, South Carolina, and both Utah locations. Carl’s Jr. rewards members can buy one Famous Star burger and get one for one cent on May 28, and Hardee’s has the same one-cent Famous Star offer that day.
Checkers & Rally’s is running a buy one, get one free deal on Classic Burgers on May 28, while Del Taco rewards members can get buy one, get one free Double Del Cheeseburgers through May 30. Eddie Merlot’s is selling the Eddie’s Prime Cheeseburger + Housemade Potato Chips for $15 on May 28 for online takeout or delivery orders. Farmers Boys VIF members can order a $3.99 Big Cheese Cheeseburger in the chain’s app, and Fatburger is offering half off burgers with the purchase of a Pepsi on May 28.
Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is including its Smashburger in the Perfect Pair Menu for $14.95, Good Times is offering a Deluxe Cheeseburger for $2.99 for dine-in customers on May 28, and Hard Rock Cafe has Classic Smashed Burger deals between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time.
