An AMBER Alert has been issued for 10-year-old Damonie Wade after he was last seen at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 22, in the 200 block of Ashland Drive on San Antonio's Northeast Side.
Texas Department of Public Safety said Damonie is 5 feet tall, weighs about 100 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, gray sweatpants and black slides. The alert puts a child’s disappearance in front of the public immediately, and in this case officials are asking anyone who sees him to call 911.
The alert was issued after Damonie was reported missing, and the details circulating now come from Texas DPS, the San Antonio Police Department and local news reports. The police department was listed as the contact for information, and one notice asked anyone with information on his whereabouts to call San Antonio police at 210-207-7660.
What matters today is simple: the search is active, the child is still missing, and the public has the clearest possible role in finding him. Damonie was last seen on Friday evening, and the next lead could come from someone who recognizes his description or remembers seeing him near Ashland Drive.
