Natasha Bure Perry surprised her parents, Candace Cameron Bure and Valeri Bure, on Tuesday, May 26, revealing she and husband Bradley Steven Perry are expecting their first child after trying to keep the pregnancy secret on a family trip.
Natasha, 27, posted the moment on Instagram and said, "We weren't planning on telling my parents on this trip but right when we flew in, my symptoms were so rough and I didn't think I'd be able to hide it for the whole weekend." She and Bradley, also 27, had their flight land an hour before her parents', and "so about 10 minutes before they arrived, we RANNN to the gift shop and tried to find anything baby related."
The couple bought a "little onesie, snow boots, & a beanie," Natasha wrote, and laid the items out on a chair in their hotel room before Candace, 50, and Valeri, 51, walked in. Candace "gasped when she saw the baby items," Natasha said, and asked, "Wait, what? Are you kidding? You're kidding! For real?" Valeri high-fived his wife before hugging Natasha, and Bradley hugged his mother-in-law as the family laughed through the surprise. "They were very shocked and excited to say the least!!! I don't think my Dad even understood what was happening, he was just surprised by my mom being so surprised over something. We could not stop laughing and it really was the sweetest moment ever 🥲 I can't tell you how many times I've watched this video," Natasha wrote.
The reveal follows the couple's May 7 Instagram announcement that they were expecting and comes after their wedding at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California, in September 2025. Candace and Valeri are already parents to sons Lev Bure and Maksim Bure; Candace responded to the news with a series of jubilant posts, writing, "I'm gonna be a Candy Gram!!!!!!" and later, "CandyGram in full effect 🤗❤️." In a social media Q&A Candace said, "I always wanted to be a grandparent in my 40s — but on my 50th year is perfect!!"
The moment carried a small tension: the couple had intended to keep the pregnancy quiet on the trip, but Natasha's symptoms made that impossible. She captured how fraught she felt before the surprise: "I literally feel like I'm going to pass out. We're telling my parents that I'm pregnant." That unease is echoed in her description of the scramble to the hotel gift shop and the urgency with which they staged the reveal.
Even that nervous energy couldn't dull the reaction. Candace alternated between disbelief and delight — "Wait what?" she is heard saying in the video — and later told the family, "I need to cancel everything off the agenda. I don't want to work a day in my life anymore," adding, "I'm freaking getting a grandbaby!" Natasha and Bradley summed up their own feelings plainly online with, "Our dream role 🐣"
The result is simple and final: Candace Cameron Bure will become a grandmother, and both families have embraced the news publicly. Natasha's Instagram account captured the instant the secret became the family's newest certainty — a rushed gift-shop run, a chair with tiny clothes, a stunned gasp, and then the laughter and hugs that confirmed the story in the video she says she "can't stop" replaying.
