No Doubt Las Vegas Show: Gwen Stefani Shouts Out Blake Shelton at Sphere

stopped the show Saturday at the in Las Vegas to point out her husband in the crowd — shouting, "Blake Shelton’s here!" — as the country star watched ’s residency for the first time.

Shelton shared video of the moment the following day, pointing at himself in the crowd and saying, "That’s me!" The footage shows him singing along to No Doubt’s 1995 hit "Just a Girl," hugging Stefani during the set and, at the end, posing in a new green No Doubt jacket.

In his Instagram caption Shelton wrote, "So proud of my wife @gwenstefani and the @nodoubt guys for working their asses off and putting on this hell of a show," adding that he had "finally got a night off to see it," and calling the production "un-freakin-real."

The appearance carried extra weight because Stefani launched the group’s residency on May 6 and Shelton missed that debut earlier this month while he was performing at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The two have traded barbs publicly in recent months: Shelton told a magazine in January the pair’s shows would be "in direct competition," and he warned then that he expected "a little bit of trash talking," noting that "there’s a big difference in selling out the Sphere and selling out Caesars, so she’ll have that over my head." He went so far as to describe their "not friendly competition" as an "absolute ass-kicking."

That January sketch of rivalry played out in micro onstage this month. While performing at Caesars Palace earlier in the run, Shelton joked to his audience, "My wife came to town. She’s here. I mean, she’s not here. She’s over there at the other venue," then asked, "What kind of a d–khead books us the exact same nights every single night?" He added, "I think my manager did that. He’s here, isn’t he?"

Saturday’s encounter tightened the story into a clearer picture: Shelton had missed the opening night but turned up for a later performance, joined Stefani on the night she told fans the concert was "gonna be good," and left a public note of admiration. The juxtaposition of the earlier trash talk and the later embrace is the tension: talk of competition from January and a missed debut meet the reality of a husband hugging his wife onstage and posting a glowing caption.

The answer the moment supplies is simple. Shelton’s attendance, his hug with Stefani and the praise he posted make the rivalry look performative; the onstage shoutout and the Instagram video read as public support more than a feud. Married since July 2021, the pair have traded competitive lines — but Saturday’s exchange at the reduced the noise to a single fact: Shelton showed up, he stayed, and he applauded his wife.
