Montgomery County deputies responded Friday to an active shooting on Nottingham Street in the eastern part of the county, near I-69 and SH 99.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said the scene was near Nottingham Road, close to Cambridge and Galaxy boulevards, and officials said multiple people had been shot. People in the area were told to listen to law enforcement at the scene, while anyone outside the area was asked to stay away.
The location was identified as near Kings Colony in eastern Montgomery County, a neighborhood that sits close to the road network feeding that part of the county. The incident remained active, and authorities did not provide information on the condition of the victims or any suspect details.
